Some great things have come out of sport recently.
Roger Federer was 2 sets up against Novak Djokovic and lost in 5 sets.
While it would have been easy for Novak to concede defeat, instead, he dug deeper and won.
The good thing about most sports is it's never over until that final point or the siren rings.
I was listening to some commentators say how they thought Roger was too old to win another Grand Slam and all his competitors had worked him out.
It's easy to come up with a new way of doing something. Problem is, your competitors - if they are switched on - will soon work out how to beat you.
Your aim should be to continually re-invent yourself. Come up with new ways of doing things.
In my work of helping people, I'm looking to constantly find new and better ways of helping people to achieve their dreams.
It's not only about feeling confident, it's also about eliminating insecurities like fear of failure.
Recently, I have found two bigger insecurities that stop people from performing - fear of success and what I call the "All or nothing" syndrome.
What are you doing to re-invent yourself to stay ahead of the competition?
